Priddy Learning Academy and Priddy LIVE Online Enrollment Policy
Enrollment at Priddy Learning Academy for in-person lessons and for remote lessons at Priddy LIVE Online, is based on an interview with parents and students. Our purpose is to make sure that the students’ motivations align with the learning philosophy of the academy.
Enrollment at either Priddy Learning Academy or Priddy LIVE Online programs is for a semester at a time, with the exception of one-off private lessons.
Enrollment in the Priddy LIVE Online offered by Priddy Learning Academy requires certain technological requirements and rules to be followed.
All enrollees must have a high speed WiFi connection with a laptop or tablet that has a video camera and microphone.
All parents must fill out the Application Form completely to be scheduled for an interview and assessment of Priddy Learning Academy’s in-person and remote learning program.
Interview and Assessment
Once the Application form is received, an interview and assessment will be scheduled. The purpose of the interview is to understand the student’s situation and learn the motivations and goals of the students and parents.
Post-Assessment Analysis and Learning Plan
The teacher will meet and share assessment results, goals, and a concise learning plan. At this meeting you will also schedule your lessons based on mutual availability.
If the student, parent(s), and teacher are in agreement of the learning plan, schedule, and term length, the teacher will notify the administration so it can collect tuition payment. No lesson will be taught until tuition is paid.
Once a student is admitted and the parent has accepted, an e-invoice will be sent. Tuition can be paid through credit card, or ACH checking direct transfer. For in-person person enrollment, payment can be made with a check made payable to “Priddy Learning Academy”.
Students are expected to be punctual to their scheduled appointments whether in person or online.
Students are required to log on to their appointments 3 minutes prior to the scheduled time. The teacher will admit you to your session when he or she is ready to begin.
Sessions will begin and end as scheduled. Getting online late does not mean the student can stay late. Students who are more than 10 minutes late will be considered a “no-show”. There is no refund or credit for late students or students who do not show up. The teacher is paid whether or not the student shows up for any scheduled appointment.
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Lessons will be made up only if the student notifies the teacher. All Correspondence must be cc’d to firstname.lastname@example.org. If conditions are not met, there is no make-up session. It is your responsibility to notify the teacher.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Fall and Spring Semester:
Our refund policy is specifically designed to protect all students and families in our programs, which contain limited openings, by ensuring that last-minute cancellations do not put at risk the resources available for the remaining students and safeguarding that all openings are available to children seeking help with their education.
To withdraw from the program, the parent must submit written notification at least 2 weeks prior to withdrawal, to the Academy Director, email: email@example.com.
A tuition refund will be calculated from the last date the student attends after the 2-week notification is received, using the following table:
Days into Enrollment Amount of Refund
1–14 days: 80% of total semester’s tuition charge
15–29 days: 60% of total semester’s tuition charge
30–44 days: 50% of total semester’s tuition charge
45–64 days: 30% of total semester’s tuition charge
65 days and beyond: 0% of total semester’s tuition charge
The Application and Registration fees are nonrefundable.
A full tuition refund will be issued up to and including day 30 before the summer session begins. A student who cancels within 30 days will not be granted a refund. The Application and Registration fees are nonrefundable.
Priddy Learning Academy encourages parents to meet with instructors to discuss your child’s progress. To arrange a parent conference, you may schedule an appointment by calling the office during non-teaching hours or email your Priddy online instructor.
I have read, agree, and accept these Enrollment Policies outlined above, and understand this is a precondition to enrollment in the in-person or online program at Priddy Learning Academy. I agree to hold harmless Priddy Learning Academy, it’s landlord, and its teachers of liability outside the classroom and, if my child cannot or is unable to get online after enrolling in the program.
