Dr. James McBride received his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, M.A. from the University of Chicago, and Ph.D. in social ethics from GTU/UC-Berkeley. During his academic career, he taught at Johns Hopkins University, University of San Francisco, University of Puget Sound, College of Wooster, and Fordham University where he was tenured and named the Vice-Chair of the Humanities Division. He also earned a J.D. from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and practiced securities law for nine years in New York City. Dr. McBride has over twenty years of experience in teaching students how to write. When not teaching, Dr. McBride is a volunteer assistant Little League coach in Millburn, where he and his family reside.
